Introducing IR’s AeonX Mobile 4D Scanning Solutions

IR now offers a range of motion scanning systems. We offer 2 different types of video capture systems.

We strictly use global shutter cameras, that are genlocked, with audio synchronization. We capture RAW dng data streamed through capture cards to desktop PC’s.

JAI SP-20000M-CXP2

The full frame JAI 20MP capture system. This system can operate at 20MP at 30fps. Or 8MP at 50fps.

  • Interface: CoaXPress CXP6-X2
  • Format: 35 mm
  • Lens Mount: F-Mount
  • Mega Pixels: 20
  • Resolution: 5120 x 3840
  • FPS: 30

  • Sensor Type: CMOS Global Shutter
  • Sensor: CMV20000
  • Pixel Pitch (µm): 6.4 X 6.4
  • L X W X H (mm): 84.5 X 62 X 62

JAI SP-12000M-CXP4

The JAI 12MP capture system. This system can operate at 12MP at 60fps up to 189fps. Or 8MP at 250fps.

  • Interface: CoaXPress CXP6-X4
  • Format: 28.16 mm
  • Lens Mount: F-Mount
  • Mega Pixels: 13
  • Resolution: 4096 x 3072
  • FPS: 189
  • Sensor Type: CMOS Global Shutter
  • Sensor: CMV12000
  • Pixel Pitch (µm): 5.5 X 5.5
  • L X W X H (mm): 127.5 X 62 X 62

  • Auto Iris: None

LED Lighting System and Spherical Frame

We’ve developed our own custom IR spherical frame, external dimensions 2m (w) x 1.5 (d) x 2.3m (h). This is a 230-degree cage to facilitate ear to ear coverage of a human subject from head to shoulders for performance capture.

We integrated an array of LED lighting nodes, control hardware and DarkStar software developed by Ida-Tronic – https://ida-tronic.com/

Our system uses pulsed light synchronization. We can capture at up to 350us exposure speed. This minimizes motion blur and subject discomfort to produce very sharp, clean images. This video frame capture is perfect for 3D reconstructions to produce motion scanned data output.
